Applications submitted through our Services are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective insurance carriers. We act as your agent in submitting applications but the insurance relationship is between you and the carrier.
6. Fees and Compensation
6.1 No Direct Fees
Waltoria does not charge you directly for our advisory services. Our services are provided at no cost to you.
6.2 Commission Disclosure
We are compensated through commissions paid by insurance carriers when you purchase products through us. Commission amounts vary by product and carrier.
This commission structure:
- Does not increase the cost of products to you
- May create an incentive for us to recommend certain products
- Is disclosed in compliance with applicable regulations
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of our Services are owned by Waltoria or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability
Important Legal Notice
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WALTORIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE TOTAL FEES YOU HAVE PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, you agree to contact us at legal@mail.waltoria.io to attempt informal resolution. We will work in good faith to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
11.2 Binding Arbitration
If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you and Waltoria agree to resolve any disputes through binding arbitration rather than in court, except as provided below.
11.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AND WALTORIA AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
11.4 Opt-Out of Arbitration
You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@mail.waltoria.io within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes not subject to arbitration shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Nebraska.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date, post the revised Terms on our website, and notify you by email at least 30 days before changes take effect.
Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by emailing support@mail.waltoria.io. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without cause.
Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
