Marketplace Privacy Notice
Waltoria LLC · Version 1.0.0 · Effective October 23, 2026
Please read this before you give us any information for a Health Insurance Marketplace® application. It explains why we ask, how we use and share what you tell us, and your choices.
Who we are
Waltoria LLC is a private company in Papillion, Nebraska. Our licensed agent, Ifeanyi Onubogu (NPN 20352929), is registered with the federal Health Insurance Marketplace and helps people apply for and enroll in Marketplace health coverage. We are not the Marketplace, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), or any other government agency.
Why we may ask
Federal law lets licensed agents who are registered with the Marketplace help people enroll in Marketplace plans and apply for help paying for them (Affordable Care Act section 1312(e), 42 U.S.C. 18032(e); 45 CFR 155.220). Our agreements with CMS let us collect and use your information only for that help, and require us to protect it (45 CFR 155.260).
What we ask for
What the Marketplace application needs, such as names, dates of birth, address, phone and email; who is in your household and tax household; expected household income; current health coverage; and, when you apply, Social Security numbers. We also receive information about your application and coverage from the Marketplace and your insurance company.
Why we ask
With your permission, we use your information to:
- look for any Marketplace application you already have;
- help you apply for coverage and for help paying for it (premium tax credits and lower out-of-pocket costs), or for Medicaid or CHIP;
- compare plans with you and help you choose one;
- submit your application and enrollment, and help you make your first payment;
- help you report changes, fix errors on your application, and renew your coverage;
- answer the Marketplace's questions about your application, and help you with your insurance company;
- ask how we did, and resolve any complaint about our help; and
- keep the records federal rules require.
We use the information you give us for your Marketplace application only for these tasks, unless you first give us your specific permission for something else.
Who we share it with
- The Marketplace (HealthCare.gov), run by CMS, to submit your application and enrollment, and to get plan prices and savings estimates.
- The insurance company whose plan you choose, to enroll you and to help you with your coverage.
- HealthSherpa, an enrollment platform CMS has approved, which we use to complete and submit Marketplace applications. The insurance agency we are contracted through may see the applications we submit there, as part of our contract with it.
- Someone you authorize, such as an authorized representative.
- Government agencies and courts, when the law requires it, for example for a CMS audit or under a court order.
We may share the information you give us for your Marketplace application with service providers who process it only to help us carry out the tasks listed above, under contracts that limit their use of it to those tasks. One of them is an artificial intelligence service that helps us prepare plan comparisons and application checklists. It does not receive your name, Social Security number, contact details or account numbers, and a licensed agent reviews everything before it is used.
We do not sell your information.
Do you have to give it?
No. Giving us information is your choice. But the Marketplace needs certain information to process an application. For example, each person applying for coverage who has a Social Security number must give it. People who are not applying usually do not have to.
If you don't give it
We may not be able to help you apply or enroll, and the Marketplace may not be able to decide whether you qualify for coverage or for help paying for it. You can always apply on your own at HealthCare.gov or by calling the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 (TTY 1-855-889-4325).
Your permission
Before we help you, we ask for your permission, on a recorded call or in writing. You can take back any permission you give us at any time by calling or emailing us. If you take back your permission for our help, we stop helping you with the Marketplace, but we keep the records federal rules require.
How long we keep it
At least 10 years, as federal rules require. Then we destroy it securely.
See or correct your information
You can ask to see the Marketplace information we keep about you, and for the record of its disclosures that we are required to keep. We answer within 30 days. To ask us to correct, change or delete it, tell us by email or phone which information and why. We answer within 10 business days, and if we say no, we tell you why in writing. We confirm who you are before we answer. Information that came from the Marketplace is corrected through the Marketplace, and we can help you do that.
